Senior Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a full-stack engineering team through all stages, from problem identification to production, measurement, and iteration.

• Convert company objectives into actionable outcomes, investment decisions, and execution strategies.

• Establish engineering strategies focusing on quality, reliability, security, privacy, and operational health.

• Deliver AI-driven products and enhance team interactions with AI technologies.

• Recruit and nurture engineers, establish performance benchmarks, and address any performance-related concerns.

• Make capacity, dependencies, forecasts, and risks transparent from the outset.

• Collaborate with GTM and Operations leaders to identify challenges, outline workflows, prototype solutions, and define success metrics.

• Develop internal products and AI workflows that enhance revenue, conversion rates, productivity, or quality.

• Assess product adoption and outcomes.

• Oversee cross-system execution involving Salesforce, data, product, and AI services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading an engineering team that has achieved measurable customer or business outcomes.

• In-depth technical knowledge across architecture, product development, data management, reliability, and operational decisions.

• Experience in defining engineering strategy and making investment and prioritization decisions.

• Demonstrated experience in launching an AI-driven product or workflow and articulating its measurable impact.

• Background in hiring and developing engineers, establishing succession planning, and managing performance issues.

• Experience fostering collaborations across Product, Design, and business teams.

• Background in vertical SaaS, education, fintech, healthcare, CRM, ecommerce, or other operations-intensive industries may be advantageous.

• Experience leading significant changes in product direction, architecture, or operational models may be beneficial.

• Familiarity with developing production-level AI products, agents, evaluation systems, or automation could be beneficial.

• Experience in leading engineering efforts for internal business functions and engaging with senior stakeholders may be advantageous.

• A strong sense of product intuition and user experience empathy could be a plus.

• Experience integrating CRM, data, integration, and AI systems may be beneficial.

• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, asynchronous workers, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, Airflow, Salesforce, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, production observability, foundation models, evaluation and orchestration tools, vector search, and modern AI coding tools is required.
