Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Integration Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-level assistance to local and regional key users of Critical Manufacturing.

• Diagnose system issues and facilitate escalation when necessary.

• Ensure seamless daily operations of the MES system.

• Assist in the expansion and enhancement of MES functional modules.

• Recognize opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and system utilization.

• Work closely with global and regional teams to implement enhancements.

• Provide training to shop floor users, engineers, and key users on MES functionalities.

• Create training materials and ensure knowledge transfer across various sites.

• Promote adoption and best practices in the use of MES.

• Lead and assist in migrating from legacy MES systems to Critical Manufacturing.

• Maintain standardized processes and data integrity throughout transitions.

• Collaborate with project teams, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Support system upgrades, new releases, and global MES initiatives.

• Engage in UAT, validation, and deployment activities.

• Guarantee minimal disruption to production during system changes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in manufacturing systems may be accepted.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Critical Manufacturing Key User or in a similar MES support position.

• Proficiency in supporting MES implementation and user assistance, encompassing deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in supporting production operations and enhancing manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with manufacturing system integrations and data flows.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

• Involvement in global digital transformation initiatives is a plus.

• Understanding of manufacturing automation, Industry 4.0, or Smart Factory concepts is advantageous.

• Experience within multi-site, global manufacturing organizations is preferred.

• Project management or change management experience is a plus.

• Proficiency with SAP MM, PP, and ME modules is highly desirable.

• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” in accordance with U.S. federal law due to ITAR/EAR access requirements.
