Senior Engineer I, Product Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct security evaluations

• Apply security best practices

• Collaborate with product teams to ensure that products adhere to high security standards

• Execute security reviews and threat modeling for product features and architectures

• Create and maintain security tools, guidelines, and standards for product development

• Offer security guidance and support to product teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• Research and assess new security technologies and solutions

• Keep abreast of the latest security trends and threats

• Integrate security tools into CI/CD processes and fine-tune rules to minimize false positives

• Develop scripts to automate routine tasks

• Carry out other responsibilities that support the overall objectives of the position

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in product security, application security, or software engineering

• Familiarity with security tools and frameworks such as OWASP and NIST

• Proficient in security testing methodologies and tools, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, and penetration testing

• Strong understanding of web and mobile security, cloud security, cryptography, and network security

• Expertise in security technology, frameworks, security testing methodologies, and tools

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C#

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Capability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues swiftly using sound judgment, composure, and diplomacy

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
