This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop trusted-advisor relationships with executive-level decision makers concerning outcome-focused solutions.
• Arrange introductory meetings with decision makers to discuss enhancements, repairs, and modernization of facility infrastructure.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to uncover financial, regulatory, resilience, and technology requirements.
• Identify stakeholders and decision makers to propel opportunities through public-agency procurement methodologies.
• Collaborate with expert proposal managers in crafting proposals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in formulating proposals that encompass technical and financial solutions, cost efficiencies, and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
• Conduct oral interviews and presentations for decision makers and governing bodies, as well as negotiate contracts.
• Clearly communicate how infrastructure modernization and energy solutions contribute to sustainability, resilience, cost savings, and optimization.
• Keep abreast of energy market trends and region-specific legislation impacting performance-based energy agreements.
• Stay informed about renewable energy, off-grid generation and storage, LEED accreditation, and carbon monetization.
• Showcase the benefits of Honeywell’s energy-related offerings.
• Formulate and execute strategies for market growth tailored to geographic and market-specific clients.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of consultative sales experience across a multi-state territory.
• Minimum of 5 years in complex sales and/or business development in federal, state, or local government, K-12 schools, or higher education sectors.
• Strong understanding of essential sales principles and best practices.
• Exceptional teamwork and communication abilities.
• Considerable experience in selling industrial products.
• Extensive technical expertise.
• Familiarity with Honeywell’s value proposition and competitive landscape.
• Knowledge of Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC).
• Experience with hardware and software.
• Understanding of energy and operational savings.
• Knowledge of smart controls, smart lighting, battery storage, data storage, EV charging, water meters, building automation, and onsite solar solutions.
• Background in the financial sector.
• Mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in selling energy and lighting efficiency solutions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or hold protected status under asylum or refugee status in compliance with U.S. export control laws.
