πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee and address the complete process of employee exits across various international jurisdictions.

β€’ Offer expert advice on termination, resignation, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures.

β€’ Lead and manage discussions on workforce reductions, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, as well as provide termination guidance and ensure effective delivery of termination outcomes.

β€’ Negotiate and influence favorable results in complex termination scenarios while balancing the interests of competing stakeholders.

β€’ Coordinate with internal and external parties, including payroll, legal advisors, government agencies, and trade unions.

β€’ Draft, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documentation while upholding the confidentiality of employee records.

β€’ Execute offboarding processes using Remote’s internal HRIS platform in collaboration with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams.

β€’ Act as a subject-matter expert on offboarding issues and address queries from both internal and external sources.

β€’ Assist clients in navigating Employee Relations resources, policies, and procedures.

β€’ Conduct initial assessments of workplace issues and identify relevant local regulations.

β€’ Coordinate the management of employee relations issues with both internal and external stakeholders.

β€’ Support clients in implementing progressive disciplinary measures and meeting documentation requirements.

β€’ Monitor employee relations cases to ensure timely follow-up actions.

β€’ Contribute to enhancements in processes, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.

β€’ Report directly to the Manager Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, demonstrating generalist HR skills and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.

β€’ Demonstrated experience with a solid background in managing both voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with compassion, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards; providing thorough HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.

β€’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze intricate HR issues, conduct research, deliver practical solutions, and effectively convey recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations.

β€’ Fundamental understanding of employee relations principles, progressive disciplinary strategies, and basic workplace investigation techniques.

β€’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently facilitate challenging conversations towards positive outcomes, particularly when stakeholders have differing interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.

β€’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

β€’ A keen interest and ability to innovate and enhance processes, continually recognizing and implementing automation opportunities and advocating for best practices.

β€’ Operational efficiency with an understanding of the significance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.

β€’ Tech-savvy with the capability to collaborate asynchronously across various tools and adapt to new and evolving systems.

β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team in a dynamic, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities, and a willingness to work flexible hours as required.

β€’ Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

β€’ Exhibits strong automation and AI capabilities along with fluency in AI concepts.
