This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of employee relations cases from the initial intake to final resolution.
• Offer guidance to managers regarding performance issues, conduct problems, attendance, workplace conflicts, and violations of policy.
• Execute prompt, thorough, and unbiased investigations into complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace matters.
• Record investigations, findings, recommendations, and outcomes comprehensively.
• Analyze case trends and suggest proactive measures to minimize recurring workplace challenges.
• Mentor leaders on effective employee management techniques.
• Collaborate with managers on performance improvement plans, disciplinary measures, and separation decisions.
• Provide recommendations that balance business needs with employee experiences, legal compliance, and organizational values.
• Assist in organizational changes, restructures, and workforce transitions.
• Interpret and consistently apply company policies.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Work in conjunction with Legal and HR leadership on complex employee relations issues.
• Contribute to the review and updating of policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
• Stay informed of developments in employment law and workplace trends.
• Facilitate discussions and interventions to resolve workplace conflicts.
• Advocate for respectful workplace behaviors and nurture positive employee relations.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and assist leaders in proactively addressing workplace concerns.
• Act as a reliable resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace issues.
• Maintain precise case documentation and records.
• Monitor employee relations metrics and trends.
• Generate reports and insights for HR leadership regarding case volume, themes, risks, and resolution effectiveness.
• Spot opportunities to enhance processes, managerial capabilities, and employee experiences.
• Design and deliver training for leaders on best practices in employee relations.
• Educate managers on performance management, documentation, investigations, accommodations, and policy enforcement.
• Assist in developing tools, templates, and playbooks to ensure organizational consistency.
• Utilize approved AI and digital tools to streamline work, enhance service quality, and boost efficiency while ensuring the accuracy, privacy, and alignment of outputs with business needs.
• Identify and report inaccurate information, knowledge gaps, and issues related to digital tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a significant focus on employee relations.
• Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience advising managers on performance management, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in HRIS and case management systems.
• Skilled in using AI and digital tools.
• Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience supporting multi-state workforces.
• Background in financial services, professional services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience utilizing HR technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance HR processes and case management.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, file documents in high or low cabinets, use a telephone, and operate computer systems.
• Must be able to work remotely for this position.
