This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
• Offer guidance, assistance, and recommendations regarding employee relations matters.
• Establish collaborative relationships with management, HR Business Partners, Legal, and internal teams.
• Execute, conduct, and document investigations related to employee relations.
• Provide advice and direction to leaders on employee issues and investigations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on solutions to address inquiries, concerns, and investigations.
• Interpret company policies and procedures while advocating for compliance.
• Educate employees and stakeholders about relevant policies and processes.
• Manage employee relations cases within the case management system and/or Ethics Hotline.
• Document findings from investigations in accordance with best practices.
• Analyze and monitor trends in employee relations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and enhance employee engagement.
• Foster a positive and transparent employee relations environment.
• Assist in gathering information for legal complaints and charges.
• Applicants must reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zones in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field with 4 years of experience in a related area; alternatives include a master’s degree with 2 years of experience, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Direct experience managing all facets of employee relations issues, including intake, review, and resolution.
• Advanced understanding of workplace investigations, union avoidance, and state and federal employment regulations.
• Capability to influence, communicate, and establish credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Skills in coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to counsel HR Business Partners and management on addressing employee concerns and issues.
• Capacity to work autonomously with urgency and effective prioritization.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good judgment, discretion, and professionalism when managing sensitive and confidential matters.
• Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and conveying data and trends.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for investigations.
• Ability to successfully work 100% remotely, with occasional required travel.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must currently have authorization to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
