This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services to clients in the electric power project sector.

• Conduct technical assessments of electric power generation projects and related facilities.

• Assist with project economic and cost analyses, risk evaluations, and contract formulation.

• Execute engineering design reviews and perform technical due diligence.

• Aid in project development and conceptual design for thermal power initiatives.

• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

• Utilize data, automation, artificial intelligence, and other digital resources where applicable to enhance research, analysis, engineering, design, and workflow optimization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a program accredited by the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission, with a robust academic record.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience within the electric power sector.

• Proficiency in the detailed design of medium voltage electrical systems for utility-scale thermal power projects.

• Familiarity with simple cycle gas turbines, combined cycle projects, coal-fired generation, or reciprocating engines (RICE).

• Experience in providing development support and conceptual design for thermal power projects.

• Strong technical communication and writing abilities.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.; the employer does not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the United States.

• Experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design reviews of thermal power projects is preferred but not mandatory.

• A general understanding of power station operations and performance evaluations is advantageous but not essential.

• Basic familiarity with process design at electric power generation facilities is beneficial but not required.

• Experience in economic analysis, cost assessment, and contract development is preferred but not essential.

• Knowledge of international design codes and standards is desirable.
