This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
β’ Assist in the planning and design of electrical systems for federal infrastructures and facilities projects.
β’ Aid in the creation of power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications, and life safety systems.
β’ Conduct engineering calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections under the supervision of licensed engineers.
β’ Implement electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and industry best practices.
β’ Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and various electrical modeling and analysis tools.
β’ Support project schedules, design coordination, and collaboration across disciplines.
β’ Investigate federal design standards and propose solutions to technical issues.
β’ Generate and maintain project information within project management systems.
β’ Travel to project locations and federal installations for design development, construction, and coordination tasks.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power (preferred).
β’ At least one year of engineering experience, including internships or equivalent academic project experience (preferred).
β’ Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe (preferred).
β’ Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering concepts related to building and facility systems.
β’ Proficient knowledge of, or the capability to become skilled in, Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, AGi32, or similar tools.
β’ Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical building systems.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
β’ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
β’ Readiness to travel and engage in occasional fieldwork as necessary.
