Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide development assistance, conceptual design, and owner's engineer services to clients.

• Conduct technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.

• Assist with project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract formulation.

• Perform engineering design assessments and technical due diligence.

• Aid in project development and conceptual design for thermal power initiatives.

• Leverage data, automation, artificial intelligence, and other digital tools to enhance research, analysis, engineering, design, and workflow efficiencies.

• Travel within the United States and internationally as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

• Strong academic performance.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the electric power sector.

• Proven experience in the detailed design of medium voltage electrical systems for utility-scale thermal power projects.

• Familiarity with simple cycle gas turbines, combined cycle projects, coal-fired generation, or reciprocating engines (RICE).

• Background in development support and conceptual design for thermal power projects.

• Exceptional technical communication and writing abilities.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.; the company does not provide sponsorship for work authorization.

• Experience in technical due diligence and owner's engineering design reviews for thermal power projects is advantageous but not mandatory.

• General knowledge of power station operations and performance evaluations is beneficial but not essential.

• Basic understanding of process design at electric power generation facilities is a plus but not required.

• Experience in economic analysis, cost analysis, and contract development is appreciated but not essential.

• Familiarity with international design codes and standards is preferred.

• Experience with AI, automation, programming, or related technologies is valued where applicable, but not required.
