Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee electrical design and offer technical assistance for distributed energy initiatives.

• Evaluate single-line diagrams, load flow analyses, and interconnection documentation.

• Work collaboratively with utilities, clients, and consultants on project engineering tasks.

• Ensure that designs comply with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Assist with commissioning and operational troubleshooting for energy assets.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the renewable energy and environmental sector, concentrating on developing and executing solutions that promote the energy transition.

• Practical experience with battery storage energy generation technologies and a demonstrated capability to handle multiple projects.

• At least 5 years of experience collaborating with utilities, clients, and external engineering partners.

• In-depth knowledge of IEEE standards and NFPA-related electrical standards.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

• Experience with PV solar energy generation technologies (preferred).

• Background in negotiating contracts and managing delivery timelines (preferred).

• Proficiency in power system modeling tools for load flow studies, as well as solar or storage design software and AutoCAD (preferred).

• Awareness of energy efficiency measures (preferred).

• Experience in managing consulting engineers and vendors (preferred).

• PE license (preferred).
