This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee electrical architecture development across various simultaneous programs, which include mixed-signal PCBs, embedded controllers, and tailored sensor interfaces.
• Establish electrical specifications and design standards at the program level.
• Propel design choices by balancing performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for hardware design evaluations, customer technical discussions, and cross-functional trade analyses.
• Integrate embedded processors, FPGAs, sensors, and power subsystems within multifunctional platforms.
• Direct the technical trajectory for hardware/firmware integration in collaboration with software teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to EE I-III engineers throughout various projects.
• Evaluate designs and assist in the professional growth of engineers.
• Lead investigations into complex hardware failures and implement corrective action plans.
• Manage relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners for PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM.
• Advise on lifecycle management and obsolescence planning strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 7-9 years of pertinent experience.
• Proven experience in leading intricate board-level and system-level electrical designs from inception to production.
• Extensive knowledge in low-power design, sensor integration, and signal conditioning.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, IPC-610, ISO, ITAR/EAR).
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead engineering initiatives across multiple stakeholders and programs.
• Advanced skills in lab testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a background in mentoring engineers and presenting to customers or leadership.
• U.S. citizenship or national status, lawful permanent residency, refugee/asylee status, or eligibility to secure necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
