Senior EDI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess business needs and create EDI mapping specifications.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI maps and associated business processes.

• Configure and onboard new trading partners using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

• Provide support, maintenance, and enhancements for integrations with current trading partners.

• Monitor daily EDI transactions and communication processes, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Employ EDI mapping tools, translation software, and cross-reference tables.

• Oversee EDI testing, implementation, and production rollouts.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external trading partners to address EDI-related challenges.

• Document EDI processes, configurations, and technical specifications.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an EDI Specialist or a similar position.

• Proven involvement in one or more full lifecycle Infor M3 ERP implementation projects.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting production EDI environments and onboarding trading partners.

• Familiarity with EDI translation software and mapping tools.

• Strong understanding of ANSI X12, XML, and EDIFACT standards.

• Experience in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI maps.

• Knowledge of networking and communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTPS.

• Experience with relational databases, including SQL and Oracle.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Preferred: substantial experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6+, RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML Web Services, JSON, XML, XSLT, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Microsoft IIS, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Windows Services, scheduled jobs, Git, and source control/CI-CD tools.

• Preferred: experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise EDI APIs and integration solutions.

• Preferred: experience in integrating IBM Sterling B2B Integrator with ERP systems, internal business applications, and third-party platforms using APIs and web services.

• Preferred: ability to troubleshoot and support production .NET applications, IIS-hosted services, SQL Server databases, and EDI integrations.

• Preferred: experience with OAuth, API Keys, SSL/TLS, and certificate management.

• Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), background services, or asynchronous processing technologies.

• Preferred: 2–4+ years of ERP experience, including at least 3 years supporting Infor M3 EDI.

• Preferred: experience in supporting production environments, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing performance improvements for enterprise integration solutions.
