Academic Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the status of VPA’s 788 projects to guarantee centralized visibility throughout the pipeline.

• Ensure that communication fields are filled out upon the closure of each project.

• Assist technical leads in documenting essential information.

• Develop a standardized project closure checklist and process.

• Convert technical deliverables into pertinent communications for managers, faculty, students, and institutional units.

• Focus on promoting completed projects that have the highest potential impact.

• Maintain a historical archive of communicated projects.

• Create a cohesive view of the event calendar across 18 higher education institutions.

• Identify date and audience conflicts and negotiate adjustments with institutional units.

• Identify synergies among events from various units and suggest integrations.

• Highlight high-impact projects approaching completion to the Academic Connections Coordination team.

• Design and conduct surveys to assess the impact of promoted projects.

• Compile results into objective metrics for reporting to VPA leadership.

• Provide insights to inform decisions on project prioritization or replication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in written and audiovisual communication, along with experience in graphic design.

• Assertive and concise communication skills, capable of translating complex technical deliverables into understandable messages.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with a structured approach.

• A balance of creativity and objectivity, with a strong emphasis on deadlines and results.

• Proactive attitude and excellent prioritization abilities.

• Comfortable collaborating with VPA’s technical teams and the 18 higher education institutions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly in presentation, spreadsheet, and form tools.

• Familiarity with Canva.

• Knowledge of video editing software such as CapCut and Adobe Premiere.

• Experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.

• Familiar with survey tools such as Google Forms and Microsoft Forms.

• Degree in higher education.
