This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Oversee commercial activities within field teams to enhance sales in the designated area.
β’ Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan, while tracking progress.
β’ Organize in-field activities to meet results and targets that have been mutually agreed upon.
β’ Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive both top- and bottom-line outcomes.
β’ Ensure seamless and collaborative execution of daily operations and long-term business strategies.
β’ Establish the tone and pace for organizational processes and workflows.
β’ Provide market and franchise/business insights while leading teams and facilitating in-field meetings.
β’ Attain mastery of product knowledge, disease states, and Managed Care market insights.
β’ Coach, mentor, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
β’ Hold direct reports accountable for their actions and adherence to expectations.
β’ Offer direction and insights to key internal stakeholders during business planning sessions.
β’ Consistently embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.
β’ Preferred Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field, or equivalent industry experience required.
β’ At least four years of pharmaceutical sales management experience (external management experience may be considered).
β’ Skills in business analysis and planning that enhance sales performance.
β’ Must be in good standing with safety and compliance standards.
β’ Currently meeting performance expectations.

β’ Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
β’ Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas clearly.

β’ Must satisfy all relevant health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain these credentials.
β’ Possession of a valid driver's license.
β’ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
β’ Ability to travel as necessary to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
β’ Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company-provided car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
