Senior Director – Transformation Gifts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a detailed principal gifts strategy targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

• Develop and oversee a portfolio comprising qualified multi-million-net-worth prospects and donors.

• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors regarding donor relations, meetings, and solicitations.

• Work alongside the Board of Patrons to enhance investment retention and identify potential donors through various networks.

• Create tailored engagement strategies that align with prospects’ philanthropic goals and HAF’s strategic initiatives.

• Generate principal gift opportunities and proposals in collaboration with programmatic leadership.

• Plan and manage exclusive invitation-only events in coordination with the Events team.

• Utilize donor databases, wealth screening, and prospect research to pinpoint potential prospects.

• Keep donor records, cultivation plans, and activity reports updated within the CRM system.

• Track the performance of the principal gift pipeline and present revenue forecasts to the Executive Director and CFO.

• Meet annual goals for principal gift fundraising, donor engagement, and portfolio performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising.

• Proven experience in securing six- and seven-figure commitments from ultra-high-net-worth individuals or families.

• Background in developing and implementing personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for principal gift prospects.

• Experience in nurturing and maintaining long-term relationships with sophisticated donors, family offices, and wealth advisors.

• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, boards of directors, and prominent volunteer leaders.

• Proficiency in donor CRM systems.

• Demonstrated success in data analysis and managing fundraising campaigns.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• A strong commitment to the mission and values of HAF.

• Ability to adhere to vaccination and health protocols as per CDC, local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Capability to sit or stand for extended durations.

• Ability to operate a computer and view a monitor for long periods.

• Valid driver's license for operating a vehicle, whether owned or rented.
