📋 Description

• Supervise the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisioning, which includes managing uncertain tax positions and associated financial statement disclosures.

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of US group tax returns.

• Provide support to the finance department for tax provisioning activities.

• Lead initiatives related to tax planning and structuring projects.

• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, and external advisors on acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, and strategic transactions.

• Oversee relationships with external tax advisors, including defining scope, deliverables, budgets, and project management.

• Offer technical guidance on complex US federal, state, and international tax issues, including matters related to Canada and Japan.

• Maintain and improve tax governance, internal controls, and processes for SOX compliance.

• Act as a liaison with US federal and state tax authorities and manage tax audits.

• Keep track of changes in US tax law and raise awareness of their impacts on the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth experience in US federal, state, and international tax matters, comprising ASC 740 tax accounting, compliance, tax planning, and audit support.

• Proven experience in managing external advisors and leading cross-functional tax initiatives, including M&A transactions and business integrations.

• Familiarity with the US tax code and state tax regulations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management abilities.

• Highly self-driven, dynamic, and capable of multitasking effectively.

• Enthusiasm and initiative to work independently and lead the US tax team.

• CPA certification and/or a Master’s degree in Taxation.

• Must reside in the United States, specifically in Pennsylvania or California.
