This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the daily execution of designated AI data center sites in the Southeast, managing the process from entitlement through commissioning and turnover.
β’ Keep the VP of Projects, AIDC updated and escalate decisions that significantly impact budget, schedule, scope, or risk.
β’ Directly oversee the Site Readiness function for the region, including surveys, permitting strategies, and initial site diligence.
β’ Lead both internal teams and external contractor resources that support regional sites.
β’ Foster relationships with local jurisdictions, utilities, and landowners throughout the entitlement and permitting phases.
β’ Collaborate with other CleanSpark business units to ensure site-level activities align with the company's overall objectives.
β’ Act as the primary daily contact for the design-build contractor's leadership throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
β’ Manage the site-level schedule, budget, and risk in conjunction with CleanSpark's Program Controls function.
β’ Work with Quality, HSE, and Commissioning teams to ensure sites meet relevant standards prior to turnover.
β’ Represent CleanSpark's interests throughout the region and escalate critical issues to the VP of Projects, AIDC.
β’ Provide consistent status updates to project and executive leadership.
β’ Build, lead, and develop the site team for the region as the Southeast portfolio expands.
β’ Minimum of 10 years of experience in site development, land development, or construction management for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects.
β’ Proven experience guiding projects from entitlement through to construction completion.
β’ Familiarity with design-build or EPC contractors operating under lump sum or similar delivery models.
β’ Strong understanding of permitting, utility interconnection, and land use processes.
β’ Good judgment in making routine site decisions and the ability to promptly escalate major decisions.
β’ Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead cross-functional teams, including both internal staff and external contractors.
β’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company effectively with external stakeholders.
β’ Candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field, or equivalent field experience (preferred).
β’ Experience in the development of data centers, hyperscale, or mission-critical infrastructure (preferred).
β’ Existing connections or experience within the Southeast market, including local jurisdictions and utilities (preferred).
β’ PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
β’ Experience managing design-build relationships under LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) contracts (preferred).
