This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement strategies for access materials, tools, and resources tailored for KAMs.
• Ensure alignment of KAM communication strategies and tools with institutional, payer, and PBM formulary decision-makers.
• Create value narratives, foundational access platforms, training strategies, and pull-through tools.
• Strategize and lead training initiatives for KAMs, DNAs, FAMs, and Sales teams.
• Conduct analyses of the access landscape, including channel mix, coverage, competitive dynamics, unmet payer needs, willingness to pay, and implications of the Inflation Reduction Act.
• Act as the strategic lead for access marketing in brand planning and guide the execution of market access marketing for new therapies.
• Provide support for access materials and resources aimed at FAMs, DNAs, and Sales personnel.
• Anticipate market and policy changes, synthesize data from market, payers, and competitors, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with key agency partners, overseeing strategic direction, performance management, and budget allocation.
• Offer guidance on navigating materials through the Promotional Review Committee process.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across functions, including Brand Marketing, Patient Services, HEOR, Field Medical Directors, Sales, Medical Affairs, and PRC.
• Report directly to the Director of US Value & Access and serve as the KAM access lead for both launch and inline brands.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health sciences or business/marketing.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry.
• Preferred prior experience of at least 3 years in specialty, payer, key accounts/institutions, and access marketing.
• Proven ability to identify organizational capability gaps and training needs across various field roles, including KAMs, FAMs, DNAs, and Sales.
• In-depth understanding of the institutional healthcare environment, encompassing IDN and Organized Medical Group (OMG) governance structures, P&T committee processes, formulary management, hospital financial management, and the operational dynamics of large health systems, including EHR systems and pathways.
• Proficiency in market access, reimbursement, and formulary decision-maker marketing within institutional settings.
• Skill in integrating policy, clinical, and commercial considerations.
• Capability to shape functional and brand-level strategies through insight-driven access solutions.
• Recognized internal subject matter expertise in market access and reimbursement, with a proven record of influencing senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in launching new products in the US is required, with a preference for specialty drug launches.
• Experience with Pharmacy Benefit products is required.
• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
