Senior Director – Public Charging

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take charge of strategic account management for a portfolio of premier public charging accounts, including responsibility for quotas.

β€’ Develop and uphold evidence-driven segment blueprints for CPOs, Retail, and Destination charging sectors.

β€’ Record customer economics, procurement behaviors, technical/product specifications, and competitive positioning.

β€’ Convert blueprint insights into actionable inputs for Product, Policy, R&D, and Marketing teams.

β€’ Foster growth with significant market influencers within targeted sub-segments.

β€’ Update blueprints in response to market, competitive, and policy changes while monitoring segment KPIs.

β€’ Manage account health, growth, and retention effectively.

β€’ Spearhead negotiations and contract structuring for intricate, multi-year agreements.

β€’ Propel footprint expansion and secure repeat business within essential public charging accounts.

β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional pursuit teams on major RFPs and substantial bids.

β€’ Conduct business case analyses, financial modeling, and ROI evaluations.

β€’ Monitor segment strategies against established plans and modify blueprints and account strategies as necessary.

β€’ Report to the Vice President of Sales for North America.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.

β€’ 10–15 years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or strategic planning.

β€’ A minimum of 5 years overseeing multi-regional field sales teams.

β€’ Background in the EV, energy, or technology sectors is essential.

β€’ Strong preference for candidates with public charging market experience.

β€’ Expertise in creating executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex data into understandable narratives.

β€’ Proficient in utilizing AI and automation tools for research, analysis, and content creation.

β€’ Exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities.

β€’ Proven success in building and managing high-level commercial relationships.

β€’ Capacity to translate account-level insights into cross-functional influence with Product, Policy, R&D, and Marketing teams.

β€’ Ability to transform high-level objectives into segment blueprints and account plans.

β€’ Skilled in market research, data analysis, and presenting findings to stakeholders and leadership.

β€’ Comprehensive understanding of e-mobility, public charging infrastructure, and energy markets is highly preferred.

β€’ Willingness to travel domestically as business needs dictate.
