Director, Product Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead ICUC's strategy for automation and AI in relation to products and service delivery.

• Assess, pilot, and choose tools and technologies for community management, strategy, insights, monitoring, and social listening.

• Develop a standardized and scalable automation blueprint for ICUC's service offerings.

• Create a reporting infrastructure to evaluate efficiency improvements, quality, and profit margins.

• Approach automation and AI capabilities as a product, focusing on design, testing, and iteration.

• Collaborate with Operations, Product Marketing, and Growth on market positioning and messaging strategies.

• Work with Marketing on brand and content strategy initiatives.

• Promote the adoption of new tools and workflows across delivery, operations, and client success teams.

• Advocate for automation and AI strategy at the leadership level.

• Develop a company-wide narrative centered on "AI-enabled, human-powered" solutions.

• Mentor and guide teams to enhance automation literacy and build confidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building or scaling a product, automation, or AI/technology strategy function, preferably in a services, agency, or martech context.

• Proven track record of transforming automation or AI capabilities from concept to measurable operational success.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with social media, community management, or social listening platforms is highly advantageous.

• Experience in navigating reporting and data limitations of enterprise martech platforms and devising solutions to address those gaps.

• Innovative mindset focused on product development.

• Capacity to operate as a founding leader in a new function, building structure and processes autonomously.
