This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the prompt execution of data solutions that enhance proprietary market access products, field-facing tools, and tailored client analytics.
• Consolidate and assess formulary and coverage information, prescription and medical claims, HCP data, payer and plan hierarchies, lives, geographic alignment, and CRM data.
• Convert intricate business inquiries into analytical methodologies, business rules, data requirements, and scalable solutions.
• Utilize MySQL, advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools to manipulate, integrate, analyze, and validate extensive datasets.
• Leverage pharmaceutical reimbursement knowledge to assist payer channels, formulary coverage, utilization management, payer/PBM relationships, plan structures, and patient access dynamics.
• Generate market access insights and field-facing communications at HCP, account, payer, geographic, and national levels.
• Ensure quality control and validation of analytical methodologies and client deliverables.
• Examine and resolve discrepancies across various data sources and systems.
• Act as the analytics and market access subject matter expert throughout the phases of requirements, development, testing, validation, launch, migrations, refreshes, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with development, UX, account, strategy, production, and external data-provider teams.
• Function as a senior analytics subject matter expert during client meetings and in pre- and post-sale discussions.
• Create repeatable processes and standards for analytical rigor and quality.
• Mentor and develop analytics team members while maintaining a hands-on approach to complex data challenges.
• A minimum of 8 years of analytics experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, market access, managed markets, or a closely related data environment.
• Extensive experience with pharmaceutical data, including formulary/coverage, prescription or medical claims, HCP, payer/plan, and lives data.
• At least 5 years of hands-on MySQL experience, including querying, joining, transforming, aggregating, troubleshooting, and validating large datasets.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze, validate, and present complex data.
• Experience in utilizing AI to optimize data processes.
• Proven track record in designing analytical methodologies and translating business needs into detailed data and product requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of data quality, integration, attribution, aggregation, and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with a revision control system in a production environment, such as SVN, Git, or Perforce.
• Outstanding client communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple complex workstreams.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience with IQVIA, MMIT, Symphony Health, or similar pharmaceutical data platforms is preferred.
• Experience in developing HCP- or account-level market access analytics and field-facing solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with Veeva or other pharmaceutical CRM/field enablement platforms is preferred.
• Experience with payer hierarchies, PBM relationships, geographic attribution, HCP alignment, product launches, or major data migrations is preferred.
