This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and maintain enduring relationships with physicians and other clients within designated accounts and territories.
• Offer access support and educational resources while conveying essential promotional messages for individuals with Hereditary Angioedema (HAE).
• Inform physicians, nurses, billing managers, and office personnel about Donidalorsen, HAE, its approved indications, clinical data, and appropriate usage upon FDA approval.
• Assist healthcare provider offices with access support in a compliant manner.
• Comprehend healthcare market dynamics, the needs of the HAE community, and key customers and accounts involved in HAE treatment.
• Build and utilize local healthcare system networks to implement business strategies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional field teams to facilitate the launch of the Donidalorsen product.
• Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on brand messages, efficacy, safety, and access processes using approved materials.
• Utilize tokenized patient hub data via CRM to provide updates on patient access status.
• Enhance awareness of the HAE disease state and educate on patient requirements.
• Inform customers about Ionis patient services and promote appropriate program usage.
• Engage in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings.
• Collect account insights and relay feedback to field leadership and marketing.
• Identify, validate, and document potential healthcare professionals treating HAE.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans and launch engagement strategies for the territory.
• Attend field meetings and participate in training programs.
• Complete training on the approved label, compliance, and customer engagement policies.
• Comply with Ionis policies, the Code of Ethics, and Business Conduct standards.
• Share customer engagement insights with field teams and leadership.
• Utilize platforms and technology to engage customers through various channels.
• Collaborate on accounts with patients who are seen by multiple specialties across different regions.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Preference for candidates with Master’s and/or advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, PhD, PharmD) and at least 8 years of related experience.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or in field reimbursement and/or access roles.
• Experience in rare diseases and product launches is desired.
• Familiarity with HCP and IDN engagement.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional field teams.
• Proven successful launch experience.
• Knowledge in customer reimbursement and drug access education and support.
• Extensive understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including the market access landscape and payer reimbursement policies for rare disease products.
• Strong analytical skills to develop product knowledge competency in pharmaceuticals, competitor offerings, and related disease states.
• Ability to address customer challenges with integrity and compliance.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Documented success in consistently and compliantly meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative and qualitative goals.
• Solid understanding and adherence to external laws, codes, and company policies relevant to the healthcare sector and interactions with healthcare professionals.
