This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Direct the portfolio-wide media strategy for the U.S. Metabolic Conditions Business Unit, encompassing five distinct disease states.
β’ Create annual, quarterly, and in-cycle media plans in collaboration with the media agency.
β’ Establish media objectives focused on awareness, education, diagnosis, treatment consideration, patient discovery, switching, retention, adherence, and customer engagement.
β’ Facilitate integrated media planning for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients/caregivers across various channels, including paid search, paid social, programmatic, endemic and non-endemic media, video/CTV, digital partnerships, and innovative platforms.
β’ Lead the planning, allocation, scenario development, and funding trade-off recommendations for the media budget.
β’ Supervise agency partners in areas such as strategy, planning, buying, trafficking, tagging, optimization, reporting, innovation, and budget management.
β’ Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Commercial Operations, and brand teams to enhance media efficiency, manage fees, invoices, accruals, and reconciliations.
β’ Establish standardized planning principles, operational rhythms, decision-making forums, documentation standards, and performance evaluation processes.
β’ Work alongside Brand Marketing, Digital & Analytics, Business Operations, CRM, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless omnichannel integration.
β’ Develop measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, reporting inputs, and learning agendas while identifying opportunities for optimization.
β’ Advocate for test-and-learn initiatives that involve emerging channels, media partnerships, AI-enabled opportunities, audience refinement, creative testing, and measurement pilots.
β’ Disseminate portfolio-level insights and best practices across various brands.
β’ Persuade senior stakeholders through structured recommendations, effective storytelling, strategic judgment, and evidence-based decision-making.
β’ Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, guide agency teams, and mentor colleagues.
β’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
β’ A minimum of ten years of experience in media strategy, media planning, digital marketing, omnichannel engagement, or related commercial fields.
β’ Direct experience in a media agency environment, including media planning, buying, trafficking, tagging, optimization, or reporting deliverables.
β’ Ability to craft integrated media strategies for HCPs and patients/caregivers.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of paid search, paid social, programmatic, video/CTV, endemic and non-endemic media, digital partnerships, CRM-connected journeys, and emerging media models.
β’ Experience in managing media budgets, agency partnerships, vendor relationships, media authorizations, scope discussions, reporting, and investment trade-offs.
β’ Proficient in utilizing campaign reporting, dashboards, test results, audience quality indicators, web analytics, and performance data.
β’ Understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical marketing dynamics, HCP engagement, patient and caregiver journeys, promotional review requirements, privacy considerations, and compliant data usage.
β’ Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, financial acumen, communication abilities, and capability to influence senior stakeholders.
β’ Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple brands, priorities, timelines, partners, and decision-making processes.
β’ Preferred: experience with rare disease brands, portfolio-level media planning, media measurement, healthcare data partnerships, clean rooms, web analytics, business intelligence tools, marketing automation platforms, agency economics, and familiarity with emerging media/AI.
