Entra ID, Active Directory Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Operate, manage, and further enhance Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.

• Oversee Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, Identity Protection, Enterprise Applications, and PIM.

• Integrate SaaS applications and on-premises systems into the current identity framework.

• Ensure synchronization between Active Directory and Entra ID.

• Manage GPOs, OUs, and security configurations within Active Directory.

• Plan and implement hybrid identity solutions.

• Contribute to projects focused on identity management, cloud technologies, and IT security.

• Automate and streamline processes using PowerShell.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory (AD DS / AD FS).

• Completed IT training or a relevant degree from a higher vocational school, university of applied sciences, or university.

• Extensive knowledge of Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM, and Entra ID Governance.

• Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and Microsoft Entra Connect.

• Solid understanding of Active Directory security principles and Group Policy.

• Exceptional PowerShell skills with experience in automation.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Analytical, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.

• Knowledge of C# / ASP.NET / .NET is considered a plus.

• Microsoft certifications in Azure or security are advantageous.

• Proficient in German and possess good English skills.
