Senior Director, Product & Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Lead the combined Product and Solutions team at Zepto.

• Align company strategy, customer insights, and technical expertise to prioritize effectively, deliver high-quality products, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

• Serve as the second-in-command to the Chief Product Officer, reporting directly to the CPO.

• Define Zepto’s product strategy and manage portfolio sequencing and trade-offs.

• Unify Product and Solutions as a cohesive, customer-focused team.

• Create an operational rhythm that enhances decision-making speed, focus, and delivery predictability.

• Facilitate demos, proofs of concept, and technical explorations.

• Address and support complex customer implementations that necessitate architectural or executive backing.

• Mentor, develop, and recruit product and solutions professionals.

• Establish a credible path for senior individual contributors.

• Personally tackle at least one challenging, high-impact problem at any given time.

• Represent the CPO and Zepto at conferences, panels, and public events as needed.

• Incorporate AI into operational practices, including setup, documentation, and cross-team alignment of AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in both product and solutions/technical delivery functions within a technically complex environment.

• Experience in the payments sector is advantageous.

• Proven history of guiding products or major product segments from problem identification through delivery and iteration, while taking ownership of the results.

• Technical proficiency sufficient to engage credibly with engineering teams.

• Familiarity with GitHub branches and pull requests.

• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to analyze system functionality.

• Confidence in discussing architecture, security, performance, reliability, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.

• Experience in managing and developing senior-level personnel, including facilitating their growth into significantly larger roles.

• Strong product judgment and commercial acumen.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on decision-making and action.

• Background checks are required as part of the recruitment process.
