This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and oversee strategies to accelerate growth and service models for all types of pooled plans.
• Work collaboratively across various functional areas to identify and document model gaps during the RFP and pre-sales consulting phases.
• Examine market trends, data, and the competitive landscape to pinpoint opportunities for pooled plan products.
• Convert market conditions into actionable product development and enhancement strategies.
• Suggest product features, competitive positioning, profitability objectives, sales targets, and key milestone dates.
• Identify and prioritize product concepts while building a pipeline for future enhancements in partnership with pricing, marketing, sales, and operations teams.
• Direct the development, design, and upkeep of significant institutional PEP relationships.
• Collaborate with distributors, Marketing, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders regarding product and launch decisions.
• Provide updates and reports on the Pooled Plan business and ongoing initiatives.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in retirement business for PEPs, MEPs, and Exchange plans.
• Promote collaboration, transparency, quality delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Offer leadership through coaching and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Twelve years of experience in retirement services, product management, or financial services, showcasing deep expertise in pooled plan products.
• Eight years of management experience in leading and developing teams.
• Proven expertise in pooled plan design, service models, and the regulatory considerations of the retirement industry.
• Capability to create and implement product strategies and roadmap initiatives.
• Strong comprehension of retirement plan operations, distribution models, and pricing/profitability dynamics.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
• Advanced analytical abilities for interpreting market trends, competitive intelligence, and financial data.
• A successful track record in managing complex product portfolios and large institutional client relationships.
• Experience supporting RFP processes, pre-sales consulting, and product positioning.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting solutions.
• Willingness to travel moderately (10–25%) and as needed for internal meetings.
