This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the strategy, implementation, and enhancement of oncology drug management initiatives throughout The US Oncology Network.
• Integrate enterprise strategy with the execution of community oncology practices.
• Supervise a high-achieving team of Pharmacy Solutions Directors.
• Drive the development and prioritization of Network drug strategy initiatives.
• Establish governance for the portfolio, frameworks for prioritization, and performance metrics.
• Lead, develop, and mentor Pharmacy Solutions Directors.
• Collaborate with Network practices to facilitate the adoption of strategic initiatives and enhance drug utilization strategies.
• Act as the executive sponsor for key practice relationships and strategic growth opportunities.
• Work together with physician governance groups and enterprise stakeholders to synchronize priorities and ensure execution.
• Lead intricate, highly visible cross-functional initiatives.
• Link clinical, operational, and financial insights to pinpoint opportunities and aid decision-making.
• Keep abreast of emerging therapies, industry trends, payer landscapes, and changes in reimbursement.
• Represent the organization at professional associations, conferences, advisory boards, and industry forums.
• Deliver a prioritized portfolio of enterprise drug strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Enhance Network readiness, practice engagement, satisfaction, and performance outcomes.
• A bachelor's degree is required; equivalent experience will be considered.
• A PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree is required.
• An active pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Typically, 13+ years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 6+ years of leadership and oncology experience managing and developing teams in complex healthcare settings.
• 13+ years of progressive experience in oncology, specialty pharmacy, healthcare strategy, market access, practice operations, or a related field.
• At least 6+ years of people leadership experience demonstrating success in building and developing high-performing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of oncology therapeutics, community oncology care models, manufacturer pipelines, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and drug economics.
• Experience in leading enterprise-level initiatives across matrixed organizations.
• Proven ability to connect clinical and financial strategies to measurable business outcomes.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and relationship management.
• Active involvement in industry organizations, advisory boards, conferences, or professional networks is preferred.
• An MBA, MHA, MS, or other advanced degree is preferred.
