This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +5 more states.
β’ Reports to and operates under the guidance of Pharmacy Leadership
β’ Collaborates effectively, and at times independently, with medical directors and personnel across the enterprise
β’ Aids in the development and oversees the drug utilization and prior authorization review program
β’ Contributes to and supports initiatives and commitments on an Enterprise-wide scale
β’ Formulates and oversees strategies for pharmacy cost containment
β’ Creates and implements tailored pharmacy cost containment strategies for the enterprise, specific regions, and major accounts
β’ Prepares medical criteria and supports the enterprise's prior authorization program
β’ Compiles and presents reports, data, and analyses on utilization and cost trends
β’ Provides leadership and guidance on pharmacy reimbursement, claims processing policies and procedures, as well as pharmacy vendor selection
β’ Acts as a corporate pharmacy resource for medical management, operations, and sales teams
β’ Functions as a liaison to pharmacists, professional pharmacy organizations, internal committees, case management, medical management, and other providers
β’ Utilizes clinical expertise and independent critical thinking to interpret criteria, policies, and procedures, making determinations on prior approval and retrospective reviews
β’ Collaborates with clinical and operations teams of pharmacy program vendors to ensure satisfactory service for members and providers
β’ Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
β’ Must possess an active and current, unrestricted pharmacy license in the state(s) where job duties are performed
β’ At least three (3) years of pharmacy practice experience required
β’ Minimum of three (3) yearsβ experience in managed pharmacy care and drug utilization review preferred
β’ Strong Oral & Written Communication skills

β’ Sound Decision-Making abilities
β’ Ability to work from home within Arkansas, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, North Dakota, or Minnesota
β’ This position may require up to or around 24 hours a week
