This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the drug development pipeline and review medical literature.
• Offer clinical assistance to internal stakeholders.
• Create and/or execute strategies and programs aimed at reducing cost trends and enhancing health outcomes.
• Formulate and implement formularies for coverage, utilization management edits, or clinical coverage policies for pharmacy and medically administered drug products.
• Assess drug utilization trends to guide and refine formulary strategies.
• Collaborate on research initiatives and craft research project proposals.
• Prepare corporate communications for senior leadership.
• Conduct analyses of drug expenditure, utilization, and/or approval scenarios to facilitate trend management.
• Provide strategic advice to executives, often focused on specific segments.
• Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills on intricate issues with minimal oversight.
• Report to a leader and engage in the HPS Clinical Program Strategy team.
• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for meetings or training sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active Pharmacist license from the Board of Pharmacy in the relevant state.
• Proven experience in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects successfully.
• Proficiency in collaborating and communicating effectively with staff across various positions and levels of management.
• Pharm D (notable qualification).
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field (notable qualification).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access & Microsoft Project (notable qualification).
• Expertise in pharmacy benefits and health benefits (notable qualification).
• Minimum internet service of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
