Pharmacy Technician Lead Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations within the pharmacy.

• Facilitate team meetings and offer initial coaching and guidance to pharmacy technicians.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist patients with inquiries regarding medication coverage.

• Provide support and training for new staff members.

• Perform quality checks and productivity assessments.

• Recognize and establish ongoing training and retraining opportunities for the team.

• Develop, modify, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).

• Cross-train in various areas while ensuring proficiency and accuracy.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement for the team, site, and workflows.

• Manage various tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

• A valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and national certification are required.

• Familiarity with the Script Med system is preferred.

• Experience in coaching or mentoring is advantageous.

• Ability to handle escalations using sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Pharmacy Technician processes.

• Basic math skills and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong focus on detail, accuracy, and quality.

• Capability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, learning quickly, solving problems, and making decisions with minimal oversight.

• Ability to self-manage, multitask, be accountable, approachable, and organized.

• Willingness to work a rotating schedule in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

• Residency in the state of Arizona is required.

• Reliable wired internet connection; must have cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed.
