This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take the lead in planning, executing, and successfully delivering all client implementation projects.
• Establish governance frameworks for implementations that include status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, decision tracking, and escalation processes.
• Ensure that implementation activities are timely, within scope, meet client requirements, and adhere to organizational standards.
• Provide leadership oversight and performance monitoring for implementation managers, project managers, business analysts, and implementation consultants.
• Monitor the health of the portfolio while addressing risks, resource constraints, and delivery challenges.
• Guarantee that deliverables satisfy quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Act as the primary operational leader for client implementations.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Manage and communicate requirements, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions effectively.
• Lead steering committees, status reviews, and operational governance meetings.
• Advise clients on readiness for implementation, operational impacts, testing strategies, and deployment planning.
• Escalate significant risks, issues, and client concerns to executive leadership as necessary.
• Develop and enhance implementation methodologies, playbooks, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Standardize processes and establish performance metrics and dashboards.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and process transformation.
• Oversee resource forecasting, staffing assignments, workload balancing, and capacity planning.
• Identify resource gaps and formulate mitigation plans.
• Coordinate both internal and external implementation resources.
• Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, Product, Operations, Clinical, and Technology teams.
• Assist in proposal development by providing timelines, staffing assumptions, operational requirements, and delivery considerations.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, milestone tracking tools, SLA reporting, and executive summaries.
• Monitor portfolio performance and offer analysis and recommendations.
• Track implementation KPIs such as quality, timelines, client satisfaction, resource utilization, and financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the implementation organization.
• Set performance expectations and accountability standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, professional development, performance reviews, coaching, and career development planning.
• Coordinate activities with PBMs, technology vendors, implementation partners, and third-party organizations.
• Monitor partner performance and manage external dependencies, issues, and escalations.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in implementation, operations, consulting, or project leadership roles.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience managing teams in implementation, project management, consulting, or operations.
• Proven success in leading large-scale client implementations in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, managed care, consulting, or related sectors.
• Experience in managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders involved.
• Strong background in operational process improvement, governance, and service delivery management.
• In-depth understanding of PBM implementation methodologies, project governance, and operational delivery models.
• Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
• Outstanding executive communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Experience in resource planning, capacity management, and workforce forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in developing and enhancing operational processes and performance management frameworks.
• Knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy benefits, managed care, or consulting operations is preferred.
