Senior Director of Product – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement a long-term product vision and roadmap encompassing Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and the Digital Workplace.

• Prioritize the product portfolio by balancing business value, risk, cost, and strategic alignment, including decisions on whether to build or buy.

• Define target outcomes and success metrics, ensuring accountability throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Engineering to identify AI use cases and facilitate rapid prototyping.

• Advocate for an AI-First product strategy and create a pipeline from concept to prototype to production.

• Synchronize product and engineering roadmaps, capacity, and commitments to enable predictable product delivery.

• Identify risks and dependencies, driving resolution across various organizational boundaries.

• Work alongside senior finance, procurement, HR, and operations leaders to translate business strategies into product strategies.

• Convey the product vision, portfolio status, and outcomes to VP and C-level stakeholders.

• Represent the needs of associates and customers in roadmap decision-making.

• Recruit, develop, and lead Senior Product Managers and product teams, focusing on hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.

• Cultivate managers who, in turn, will develop product managers.

• Oversee workforce and capacity planning across various domains.

• Manage product budgets and relationships with vendors and licensing entities.

• Act as a decision-maker in portfolio and architecture governance.

• Implement scalable security, compliance measures, and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in digital product management or product leadership within complex, matrixed organizations.

• More than 5 years of experience leading product managers and leadership roles, not just individual contributors.

• Proven track record in owning product strategy for finance or enterprise back-office systems (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, ERP-adjacent) and/or digital workplace and employee experience platforms.

• Demonstrated capability to discover, prioritize, and deliver AI or data-driven product use cases in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into business value at the VP and C-suite levels.

• Experience working within structured governance frameworks and a matrixed enterprise environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Preferred experience in distribution, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain industries with ERP-adjacent systems.

• Preferred experience in scaling a product organization during significant growth or transformation.

• Hands-on familiarity with Billtrust, Bectran, BlackLine, Medius, Coupa, Microsoft 365, Workday, and modern identity and endpoint tools is strongly preferred.

• M&A and systems integration experience is strongly preferred.
