This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic consultant to the leadership team regarding company planning, investment choices, organizational priorities, and growth strategies.
• Function as a financial business partner to department leaders, converting data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate on workforce and organizational planning, which includes headcount strategies, organizational design, and resource distribution.
• Develop business cases, model scenarios, evaluate ROI and risk, and clearly communicate trade-offs.
• Manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-term planning, and monthly performance reporting.
• Create financial models and business cases for investments, new offerings, organizational changes, and headcount planning.
• Take ownership of performance metrics related to EBITDA, partner incentives, and recurring revenue goals.
• Spot emerging risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the CEO on board and investor reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and work with the Controller and the wider Finance team.
• Establish operational rhythms, controls, reporting standards, and accountability measures.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the order-to-revenue process, including deal booking, billing readiness, provisioning coordination, and cross-functional transitions.
• Enhance Finance systems, processes, and automation.
• Manage strategic revenue and commercial analytics related to pipeline health, bookings, revenue performance, renewals, retention, and churn.
• Conduct analyses on customer and product segmentation, retention and churn trends, expansion opportunities, and service-line economics.
• Assist in pricing, packaging, and investment decisions through financial modeling.
• Partner with Sales leadership for forecasting and pipeline analytics.
• Report directly to the CEO and be a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
• Travel quarterly for leadership offsite meetings.
• 7–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance leadership, preferably in a PE-backed, high-growth, or professional services setting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Capability to independently construct and assess multi-year forecasts, investment and ROI models, pricing scenarios, and complex business cases.
• A strategic and commercial outlook that extends beyond finance.
• Skill in translating performance and market dynamics into insightful growth recommendations.
• Outstanding executive communication abilities.
• Proficiency in distilling complex financial data into clear, persuasive insights for senior leadership, investors, and board-level stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in building high-performing teams.
• Experience in setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and empowering team members to take ownership of their work.
• Strong sense of ownership and a bias toward action.
• Background in professional services, SaaS, construction technology, or channel/partner-based business models.
• Familiarity with a PE-backed environment, including experience with investor reporting, value-creation initiatives, and private equity ownership.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based financial management platforms.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or technology-driven business transformation.
• Experience supporting M&A, due diligence, integration, or strategic acquisitions.
• A quantitative and business strategy background in finance, economics, engineering, or another analytically intensive discipline is a plus.
