This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Analyze AI-generated results related to financial modeling, valuation, and investment appraisal.

• Examine assumptions, methodologies, calculations, and conclusions for technical precision.

• Evaluate whether valuation methodologies align with the company, transaction, or market context.

• Detect unrealistic assumptions, flawed reasoning, unsupported conclusions, mistakes, and incomplete analyses.

• Assess investment prospects, corporate performance, and transaction dynamics.

• Review financial and operational data from the perspective of an investor or deal team.

• Identify critical risks, diligence gaps, and significant considerations.

• Analyze capital markets, financing, market-based reasoning, capital structure, returns, risks, and market condition assessments.

• Compare different analytical methods and articulate the trade-offs involved.

• Generate expert-level prompts based on realistic investment, valuation, and deal scenarios.

• Formulate rigorous reference responses and document assumptions and analytical justifications.

• Deliver succinct, actionable feedback to enhance AI-generated outputs.

• Differentiate between superficial financial reasoning and robust analysis.

• Offer insights to enhance model performance across finance-related tasks.

• Uphold consistent evaluation standards across varied scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a reputable financial institution, investment firm, or credible startup.

• A portion of the relevant experience should have been acquired within the last 7 years.

• Relevant background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, growth equity, or closely related finance positions.

• Proficient financial modeling and valuation capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with investment analysis, due diligence, or transaction-related work.

• Strong grasp of capital markets and financial analysis principles.

• Exceptional written English skills and the ability to articulate financial reasoning clearly.

• Strong analytical judgment and meticulous attention to detail.

• An undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university is preferred.

• Preference given to candidates located in English-speaking countries.

• Work must be performed without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, fund, portfolio company, institution, or other third party.
