Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to commercial, operations, and product teams.

• Develop and uphold financial simulation models, encompassing business plans, unit economics, and deployment scenarios.

• Analyze and present the ROI and TCO of infrastructure deployments directly to clients and partners throughout the sales process.

• Oversee monthly financial reporting, profitability assessments by site or unit, and KPI tracking.

• Monitor margin, cash conversion, and payback periods.

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Challenge operational assumptions in collaboration with business teams.

• Examine manufacturing and deployment cost structures for infrastructure units.

• Identify optimization opportunities in partnership with industrial and production teams.

• Prepare financial documentation for the executive committee, board, and investors.

• Assist with due diligence for fundraising or asset financing initiatives.

• Work alongside finance teams across group operating companies to maintain consistency in models and consolidated reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated senior-level expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, or business finance.

• Experience preferably in a capex-intensive setting such as infrastructure, energy, industrials, telecom, or data centers.

• Exceptional financial modeling abilities, including advanced Excel, ROI models, NPV/IRR, and multi-scenario business plans.

• Capacity to present and simplify intricate financial analyses for non-financial audiences, including clients and partners.

• Comprehensive understanding of cost and profitability mechanics of physical assets, including capex, depreciation, operating costs, and recurring revenue.

• Strong analytical skills, structured thought processes, and diligence in producing finance deliverables under tight timelines.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Working knowledge of French is advantageous.

• Comfortable functioning in a rapidly growing environment with changing priorities and limited established processes.

• Previous experience in AI infrastructure, cloud, data centers, or renewable energy is a plus.

• Familiarity with project finance, leasing, or structured financing related to industrial equipment is beneficial.

• Experience in multi-entity or multi-country environments with group-level consolidated reporting is a plus.

• Interest in Power BI, SQL, or scripting is advantageous.

• Prior consulting, investment banking, or private equity experience focused on infrastructure or energy transition is a plus.
