Senior Director of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the company's budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for all brands.

• Collaborate directly with the CEO and executive team on strategic decisions and capital allocation.

• Lead the reporting for the board and private equity sponsors, including financial packages, KPI dashboards, and quarterly board documentation.

• Develop and maintain financial models that support brand-level investment decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and scenario analyses.

• Drive corporate strategy initiatives, which include market analysis, competitive positioning, and assessing growth opportunities.

• Implement consistent KPI frameworks and reporting schedules across a multi-brand portfolio.

• Work cross-functionally with brand and functional leaders to manage P&L and optimize costs.

• Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team as it expands.

• Report directly to the CFO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• MBA is preferred.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy, including senior leadership roles.

• Demonstrated success in building financial models and presenting findings to boards or senior executives.

• Experience collaborating directly with C-suite executives.

• Advanced skills in financial modeling and analysis.

• Strong communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex financial information for non-financial audiences.

• Experience in establishing financial infrastructure at a private equity-backed organization is preferred.

• Proficient in NetSuite and Power BI, or capable of quickly learning new financial systems.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
