This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Formulate business plans and provider network strategies across Commercial, ACA, Medicare, and Medicaid sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to implement provider network strategies.
• Oversee the design, enhancement, and long-term planning of provider networks.
• Maintain a balance between financial discipline, quality, and accessibility across various lines of business.
• Utilize provider contracting, performance management, best practices, and market innovations to influence expansion and financial strategies.
• Manage matrix relationships with essential enterprise areas.
• Convert executive strategy into measurable business outcomes by fostering alignment and execution across high-priority initiatives.
• Supervise teams responsible for multiple lines of business, geographical planning, and development of provider network strategies.
• Assess provider network strategy proposals against established goals, objectives, and operational capabilities.
• Monitor results against business plans and deliver executive-level reporting.
• Create market, competitive, and internal analytics.
• Lead the creation of presentations, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables.
• Keep track of best practices and strategic trends in healthcare products and the industry.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies, and other relevant policies.
• Uphold confidentiality and communicate with management regarding assigned duties.
• Undertake special projects as necessary or upon request.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a strategic consulting environment.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, strategy development, analytics, and research.
• Experience in leading and mentoring team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that are clear and concise.
• Proven success in interacting with senior management and staff across various departments.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Skills and experience in creativity, innovation, analysis, and implementation.
• Business acumen and capabilities in project/process integration.
• Experience in managing annual budgets and resource allocation.
• Ability to translate needs and initiatives into persuasive business cases.
• Experience in conducting cost-benefit analyses to validate investments and ensure return on investment (ROI).
