
Senior Director, Membership – Market Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Expand and maintain Health Evolution's Enterprise Membership and Partnership network.
• Manage a portfolio of potential and existing Members, fostering connections with CEOs and C-suite executives.
• Guide potential Members through the membership sales process and oversee the renewal procedures.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential Enterprise Members and Corporate/Strategic Partners across payer, provider, and life sciences sectors.
• Handle the entire sales process, including outbound prospecting, discovery calls, benefit and pricing presentations, proposal creation, and contract finalization.
• Lead annual renewals, monitor timelines, recognize at-risk accounts, and create retention strategies.
• Build and sustain relationships with CEOs, C-suite executives, and their administrative teams.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and expansion within current Member accounts.
• Keep pipeline, account, and forecasting information updated in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Marketing on outbound initiatives, referral programs, and lead follow-up activities.
• Work alongside Member Experience and Curation teams on onboarding and Member engagement.
• Represent Health Evolution at Summits, Connect events, and selected Forum Roundtables.
• Contribute to discussions regarding pricing, packaging, and benefit strategies.
• Mentor and support junior members of the Membership team.
• Meet new membership sales goals and quarterly pipeline objectives.
• Maintain high renewal rates and precise forecasting.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales, business development, or membership/association management position, preferably within health care, health tech, or a membership-based organization.
• Proven track record of managing a full sales cycle and achieving renewal or retention targets, including forecasting and pipeline oversight in a CRM (Salesforce is preferred).
• Ability and confidence to engage directly with CEOs and other C-suite executives and their teams.
• Strong knowledge of, or capability to rapidly understand, the payer, provider, and life sciences landscape.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proposal development and presentations at the executive level.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the capability to manage a diverse account portfolio simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Willingness to travel for Health Evolution gatherings and Member meetings (approximately 15–20%).
