Senior Director – Marketing Strategy, Growth Acceleration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and propose a forward-thinking marketing growth strategy for LillyDirect targeting both Consumer and HCP audiences.

• Establish marketing objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall budget distribution for the portfolio.

• Provide guidance to senior leadership on strategic priorities, investment tradeoffs for growth, and long-term direction of the portfolio.

• Oversee content strategy and briefings aimed at Consumer and HCP audiences.

• Identify, assess, and implement strategic growth opportunities, including emerging platforms, community engagement, marketing innovations, and strategic partnerships.

• Create and implement testing strategies while offering recommendations on investments and resource allocation.

• Manage a hypothesis-driven marketing innovation pipeline, scaling successful initiatives and phasing out those that are unsuccessful.

• Monitor cultural and media trends, including the creator economy, social-first discovery, and AI-driven search.

• Develop and expand marketing programs, platforms, and cultural partnerships.

• Conduct ongoing competitive market assessments and convert findings into actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with the Business Development Lead on co-marketing initiatives.

• Attract, nurture, inspire, motivate, and retain a diverse pool of marketing talent.

• Cultivate an inclusive, diverse, high-performing team culture while enhancing marketing proficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in marketing is mandatory.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Lilly will not provide assistance for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this position.

• Experience in consumer industry marketing is essential.

• Proven track record in identifying and launching new channels, partnerships, or innovative marketing strategies.

• Exceptional partnership abilities and experience in cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong analytical skills are required.

• Capacity to manage multiple, complex, and time-sensitive projects effectively.

• Experience in market research and/or measurement is necessary.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve results.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
