This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Enhance Centene’s market position in Long-term Services and Supports (LTSS) while driving revenue growth.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities.
• Offer insights regarding the viability and appeal of prospective business initiatives.
• Aid in the creation of LTSS product offerings and operational delivery frameworks.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of market business opportunities.
• Provide leadership and oversight for LTSS proposal development, focusing on strategy, programs and services, market growth, and community involvement.
• Oversee the implementation of new business initiatives, including work plans, progress tracking, performance measurement, outcome tracking, and plan modifications.
• Assess risks and formulate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Generate reports for senior management detailing project progress and performance indicators.
• Establish licensing goals, strategies, policies, programs, negotiations, and presentations.
• Guide local business strategies and feasibility assessments for market expansion.
• Cultivate relationships with key providers, advocates, and community leaders.
• Engage with regulators and elected officials as necessary.
• Prioritize regional business development efforts.
• Lead the business planning process and create timely business plans.
• Requires travel up to 75% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, government relations, legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions, or investment analysis.
• Proven track record of successfully closing deals.
• Previous management experience, including hiring, training, delegating tasks, and overseeing staff performance.
• Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
• A Master's degree and experience in healthcare, managed care, Medicaid, or Medicare is preferred.
