
Senior Director, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing Lifecycle Marketing team.
• Define and implement lifecycle marketing strategies across owned channels to enhance engagement, retention, winback, and lifetime value.
• Drive the company's customer retention strategy by identifying key retention drivers and initiatives that enhance long-term customer value.
• Collaborate with teams in Product, Engineering, Brand, Merchandising, Data, Finance, Operations, and Customer Care.
• Create lifecycle strategies utilizing customer segmentation, personalization, and automation.
• Foster a culture of experimentation through testing, measurement, and ongoing performance improvement.
• Convert customer data and business performance into insights, recommendations, and communications for executives.
• Establish the Lifecycle Marketing roadmap while influencing cross-functional priorities.
• Continuously enhance lifecycle marketing capabilities, technology, and processes.
• 12–15 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or related customer marketing roles, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions.
• Proven track record in developing lifecycle marketing and retention strategies that yield measurable business growth in high-growth DTC or e-commerce environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, develop, and energize teams while promoting accountability, ownership, and collaboration.
• Extensive knowledge in customer lifecycle management, customer segmentation, personalization, experimentation, and best practices in retention.
• Outstanding analytical abilities with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated success in building robust cross-functional partnerships and influencing executive leadership.
• Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and customer data platforms (CDPs); familiarity with Braze is preferred.
• Comfortable operating at a strategic level while also willing to engage with the details when necessary to support the team and business.
• Experience in startup and/or high-growth e-commerce environments is highly preferred; experience in subscription businesses is an advantage.
• A strong passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and advancing Misfits Market's mission.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and effectively communicate with executive leadership.
