Senior Director, Learn Business Leader

📋 Description

• Lead Amplity Learn as a client-facing, revenue-generating division within Amplity’s medical and commercial platform.

• Spearhead the execution of the Learn business strategy, encompassing revenue targets and margin expectations.

• Convert priorities into actionable plans, operational milestones, resource allocations, and measurable outcomes.

• Foster profitable growth through expansion with existing clients, acquisition of new logos, cross-selling opportunities, and larger ventures.

• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, staffing models, pricing, utilization, and investment decisions in collaboration with finance and executive leadership.

• Collaborate with business development and client partnership teams to identify opportunities, craft proposals, and position Learn solutions effectively.

• Act as a senior client-facing thought partner in strategic initiatives, solution design, and account growth.

• Create value propositions, case studies, packaged offerings, and sales enablement resources.

• Integrate Learn with Amplity’s medical, commercial, market access, communications, and intelligence capabilities.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.

• Operationalize and enhance the product portfolio, focusing on scalable digital solutions, AI-enabled learning, microlearning, and repeatable delivery models.

• Pilot, implement, and scale AI-driven role play, virtual coaching, and technology-supported reinforcement.

• Assess, select, collaborate on, or develop digital platforms and tools.

• Develop methods to measure learning effectiveness, client outcomes, and program ROI.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across solution design, launch, implementation, facilitation, measurement, and follow-up.

• Strengthen operational rhythms, delivery standards, project governance, and handoff protocols.

• Balance delivery demands with capacity planning, profitability, utilization, contractor management, and quality standards.

• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team across solution execution, digital learning, AI-enabled products, facilitation, technology, project management, delivery, and operations.

• Shape the organizational structure, staffing, contractor utilization, team development, and succession planning.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in learning solutions, medical affairs training, commercial training, digital learning, AI-enabled learning products, life sciences consulting, or a related area.

• Proven experience in owning or significantly influencing revenue, margin, operational performance, budgets, forecasting, and business strategy.

• Strong comprehension of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical affairs, commercial, and/or life sciences operating environments.

• A demonstrated history of developing, marketing, scaling, or delivering client-facing learning, training, coaching, consulting, or capability-building solutions.

• Proficiency in digital learning ecosystems, AI-enabled learning tools, learning management platforms, learner analytics, content authoring tools, virtual coaching, simulations, and scalable technology-enabled delivery models.

• Experience collaborating with sales or business development teams to assist in proposal development, client presentations, and account expansion.

• Ability to balance business oversight with being a proactive driver who can translate priorities into results in a growing organization.

• Strong leadership presence, client-facing communication skills, financial acumen, and capability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience leading distributed teams, managing contractors or external facilitators, and scaling delivery models is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• An advanced degree in business, life sciences, education, organizational development, or a related field is preferred.
