This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Present Neurocrine product value propositions to Medical Access influencers and stakeholders in managed markets.
β’ Offer clinical support related to payers and formularies to cultivate and sustain relationships with thought leaders in managed care.
β’ Lead scientific presentations at formulary committees and facilitate discussions about Neurocrine products for designated national and regional managed care accounts.
β’ Work together with Market Access team members to fulfill the information, resources, and training needs of managed care organizations.
β’ Drive the generation of health economic and outcomes data, and explore collaboration opportunities for pipeline products as well as current treatments.
β’ Provide scientific assistance to HEOR internal stakeholders, consultants, and advisory board activities.
β’ Support Field Medical Affairs directors through training, testimony development, and other necessary resources.
β’ Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues.
β’ Inform internal stakeholders about the roles, responsibilities, and value proposition of the MCL team.
β’ Train other Field Medical Affairs teams in areas of expertise.
β’ Execute additional assigned duties.
β’ PhD, PharmD, or an equivalent qualification in a health science discipline.
β’ 7+ years of experience in field Medical Affairs, which includes a minimum of 2 years in an MSL role addressing scientific and clinical policy issues within Managed Care or Market Access; alternatively, 1+ years in field Medical Affairs and 3+ years in MCO experience.
β’ Familiarity with health plan drug utilization decision-making processes, including Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, DUR, Guideline Panels, and ICER.
β’ Experience in conducting and disseminating health outcomes research findings.
β’ Emerging as an internal thought leader with both technical and business acumen.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of one's area of specialization.
β’ Proficient in managing critical projects and relationships.
β’ Capacity to align business objectives and strategic direction to address issues and propose solutions.
β’ Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influence.
β’ Expertise in health economic principles and clinical trials.
β’ Demonstrated experience in conducting and communicating findings from clinical trials, RWE, and health economics and outcomes research.
β’ Solid understanding of regulations and current FDA guidelines regarding interactions between the industry and managed care organizations.
β’ Proven success in building relationships and identifying national, regional, and local KOLs/PBDMs.
β’ Extensive knowledge of FDA guidelines.
β’ Demonstrated ability to network and collaborate with external stakeholders, particularly managed care organizations.
β’ In-depth understanding of clinical and scientific data relevant to company products and managed markets.
