πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and implement the national strategy for Chronic Practice Liaison in alignment with enterprise growth objectives.

β€’ Identify and prioritize high-value referral sources, strategic accounts, and growth opportunities.

β€’ Drive referral volume, patient initiation, revenue, and gross profit growth within targeted chronic therapies.

β€’ Collaborate with Specialty Sales, Area Sales Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents to enhance account ownership and growth strategies.

β€’ Establish market penetration approaches for health systems, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), academic medical centers, physician groups, and specialty practices.

β€’ Cultivate executive-level relationships with key referral sources and strategic provider accounts.

β€’ Act as the escalation point for complex provider issues and access challenges.

β€’ Develop provider engagement initiatives that enhance loyalty and increase referral utilization.

β€’ Ensure the consistent execution of account planning, provider business reviews, and growth initiatives across various markets.

β€’ Lead efforts to enhance referral acceptance, conversion rates, and patient initiations.

β€’ Collaborate with Intake, Patient Liaisons, Pharmacy Operations, and Revenue Cycle teams to minimize friction throughout the patient journey.

β€’ Analyze referral leakage and enforce corrective action plans.

β€’ Drive enhancements in turnaround times, authorization performance, and time-to-treatment metrics.

β€’ Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing Chronic Practice Liaison team.

β€’ Establish performance standards, coaching methodologies, and individualized development plans.

β€’ Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.

β€’ Set clear productivity expectations and performance metrics.

β€’ Work in collaboration with Operations, Clinical Services, Pharmacy, Nursing, Finance, Analytics, and Technology teams.

β€’ Translate field insights into operational and strategic improvements.

β€’ Participate in the annual operating planning and forecasting processes.

β€’ Support the implementation of technology and workflow enhancements that improve provider and patient experiences.

β€’ Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards.

β€’ Monitor referral trends, conversion performance, account growth, provider risk indicators, and patient progression metrics.

β€’ Utilize data-driven insights to inform resource allocation and territory optimization.

β€’ Deliver regular business reviews to executive leadership.

β€’ Responsible for referral volume growth, patient initiation growth, net revenue growth, gross profit growth, market share expansion, referral conversion rate, no-go rate reduction, time-to-treatment, prior authorization success rate, order completion rate, provider retention, strategic account growth, provider satisfaction, health system penetration, employee engagement, team retention, productivity per Chronic Practice Liaison, and succession bench strength.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

β€’ 10+ years of experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, infusion, biotech, pharmaceutical, or provider-facing commercial leadership.

β€’ 5+ years of experience leading national or regional field teams.

β€’ Proven track record of success in driving referral growth and provider engagement.

β€’ Strong financial, operational, and business planning skills.

β€’ Experience in managing complex cross-functional initiatives.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrixed healthcare environment.

β€’ Preferred: Experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, ambulatory infusion center, or buy-and-bill settings.

β€’ Preferred: Experience with chronic therapies such as Immunoglobulin (IG), Neurology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and rare and orphan therapies.

β€’ Preferred: Knowledge of reimbursement, payer access, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy operations.
