Senior Director, Delivery Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery operations for BeOne's global SAP-centric ERP Center of Excellence.

• Establish and continuously enhance ERP delivery governance, roles, controls, standards, and Agile methodologies.

• Manage the comprehensive execution across SAP Functional and Technical Centers of Excellence from intake to stabilization.

• Align skills and capacity with prioritized demands while managing constraints, trade-offs, internal teams, partners, and contingent resources.

• Ensure precise project time tracking and capitalization of eligible labor in accordance with Finance policies.

• Lead the testing strategy, regression automation, quality gates, defect management, and quality metrics.

• Integrate GxP, computer system validation, and quality requirements into the delivery process.

• Manage release calendars, environment coordination, deployment readiness, cutover governance, and upgrade/lifecycle planning.

• Oversee JIRA/ALM workflows, data standards, dashboards, automation, and delivery reporting.

• Develop delivery metrics for quality, release, testing, utilization, and capacity, driving continuous improvement.

• Eliminate bottlenecks, streamline processes, enhance automation, and promote the adoption of standard operational practices.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and the Design Authority on standards, Clean Core, and solution integrity.

• Hold delivery partners accountable for quality, documentation, controls, performance, and knowledge transfer.

• Build and lead a global Delivery Excellence team with a focus on accountability, development, and succession planning.

• Provide both direct and matrix leadership, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and elastic workforce/capacity management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• A Bachelor's degree combined with 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology, ERP delivery, applications, or program/portfolio management, including senior leadership in complex global settings, or a preferred Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience leading large-scale SAP/ERP delivery organizations or transformation initiatives involving functional, technical, testing, release, and operations teams.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA delivery lifecycles and dependencies across configuration, development, integration, security, Basis/platform, data, testing, and release management.

• Familiarity with demand management, estimation, capacity planning, portfolio governance, resource allocation, and delivery performance management.

• Experience in quality engineering, enterprise testing strategy, regression automation, defect management, and release-quality metrics.

• Background in regulated life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly controlled environments.

• Working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation is highly preferred.

• Experience with JIRA and SAP-focused ALM platforms.

• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, organizational change, and vendor management skills.

• Capability to lead globally distributed teams and strategic service partners across various geographies and time zones.

• Strong financial and commercial insights, including budgeting, resource planning, and balancing internal capacity with external services.

• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
