Senior Director, IT Supply Chain Platforms, Data and Transformation

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic technology leader for Medtronic’s worldwide supply chain.

• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain executives to align technology strategy, roadmaps, and investments with business objectives.

• Develop and implement technology strategy across planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment.

• Convert business priorities into a multi-year digital roadmap.

• Lead a global team that provides secure, scalable, and modern technology solutions.

• Spearhead end-to-end supply chain transformation utilizing digital technologies, automation, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

• Enhance forecasting, inventory optimization, operational efficiency, decision-making, resilience, and overall supply chain performance.

• Take ownership of delivery, operation, and continuous improvement for essential supply chain applications and platforms.

• Guarantee reliability, security, scalability, service quality, enterprise architecture alignment, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

• Assess emerging technologies and industry practices.

• Maintain governance of the portfolio, risk management, vendor strategies, business case development, and accountability for technology investments.

• Build and nurture a high-performing global team while promoting collaboration, innovation, accountability, and product-focused execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or 13+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree.

• Over 10 years of leadership experience managing global teams and complex technology portfolios.

• More than 10 years of experience in Supply Chain IT.

• Experience in planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and global distribution.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment unless eligible for sponsorship per stated policy.

• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives to develop technology strategies.

• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation projects, cloud modernization, platform transformation, AI adoption, Industry 4.0 capabilities, intelligent automation, and digital product operating models.

• Extensive knowledge of ERP, planning, transportation, warehouse management, integration platforms, connected operations, smart logistics, and warehouse automation.

• Expertise in data, analytics, AI/ML, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience managing cross-functional programs that involve adoption, financial performance, vendor management, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise architecture, governance, and risk management.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to build trusted relationships, lead organizational change, and influence across both business and technology domains.
