Senior Director, IT Supply Chain Platforms, Data and Transformation

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic technology leader for Medtronic’s worldwide supply chain

• Provide counsel to Global Supply Chain leadership and synchronize technology strategy, roadmaps, and investments with business objectives

• Spearhead supply chain transformation initiatives utilizing digital technologies, automation, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics

• Enhance forecasting, inventory optimization, operational efficiency, decision-making, and overall supply chain performance

• Oversee the delivery, operation, and ongoing enhancement of essential supply chain applications and platforms

• Ensure reliability, security, scalability, service quality, enterprise architecture alignment, and compliance with cybersecurity standards

• Assess emerging technologies and industry-leading practices

• Maintain governance over the portfolio, manage risks, develop vendor strategies, create business cases, and ensure accountability for technology investments

• Build and nurture a high-performing global team

• Promote collaboration, innovation, accountability, and a product-focused execution approach

• Convert business priorities into a multi-year digital roadmap and quantifiable business outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with over 15 years of relevant experience or over 13 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree

• More than 10 years of leadership experience managing global teams and intricate technology portfolios

• At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain IT

• Background in planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and global distribution

• For degrees awarded outside the United States, a qualification satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment unless applicable Principal-level-or-above sponsorship policy applies

• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives to formulate technology strategies

• Demonstrated success in leading extensive digital transformation projects

• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, planning, transportation, warehouse management, integration platforms, connected operations, smart logistics, and warehouse automation

• Strong proficiency in data, analytics, AI/ML, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies

• Extensive experience in adoption, financial performance, vendor management, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise architecture, governance, and risk management

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Experience in leading organizational change and influencing across business and technology domains
