📋 Description

• Oversee the Information Technology Department at Docker

• Create a metrics-driven, business-oriented IT organization, outlining its mission and vision

• Establish systems and procedures that facilitate continuous service enhancement and support internal clients

• Act as a thought leader within the Central Operations & Systems leadership group

• Evaluate, design, and optimize the applications landscape

• Facilitate the integration of connected enterprise systems and ensure reliable information flow into the cloud

• Forge strong relationships with technical leaders and business executives to grasp business requirements

• Guarantee the effective delivery of IT services

• Create a multi-year IT strategy and roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy

• Address future technology debt issues and raise awareness of technical dependencies

• Inspire the team and organization through innovative and technological progress

• Cultivate trust, collaboration, best technical practices, and timely program execution

• Promote optimization and effective practices for both internal and external customers

• Work alongside executives to determine how IT can advance business and financial objectives

• Equip employees with productivity tools, workstations, and accessories

• Develop enterprise-wide help desk services, application management, and device lifecycle logistics

• Provide operational transparency via real-time service health metrics

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT services and team members

• Establish service-level agreements that align with IT customer productivity requirements


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of global IT leadership experience

• Background in a rapidly evolving technology startup

• Capability to conceptualize long-term business objectives and create structured processes

• Proficiency in developing high-level strategies, translating them into tactical plans, and executing them

• AI-and-automation-first mindset

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related discipline

• A Master’s degree is advantageous

• Docker evaluates visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis in line with business requirements
