Commercial Disputes and Investigations Advisory Director

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of intricate commercial litigation and dispute engagements.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs while adhering to project deadlines.

• Lead various engagement workstreams and supervise teams involved in forensic accounting, financial analysis, investigations, and litigation support tasks.

• Collaborate with Senior Directors, Principals, and Managing Directors to formulate engagement strategies, implement work plans, and tackle complex client issues.

• Conduct and manage forensic analyses of financial documents, trace funds, detect anomalies, and assess disputed transactions.

• Utilize financial, accounting, and analytical knowledge to evaluate intricate factual questions and determine damages.

• Carry out interviews and collect pertinent evidence for investigative and litigation purposes.

• Prepare and review reports, schedules, demonstrative evidence, and other deliverables for clients.

• Present findings and analyses to clients, legal representatives, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Support expert witness engagements through analysis, report drafting, and preparation for testimony.

• Build and nurture client relationships, contributing to client satisfaction and the growth of engagements.

• Assist in the development of proposals, business development initiatives, and thought leadership endeavors.

• Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members while promoting a collaborative team culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in consulting, disputes, investigations, forensic accounting, or related fields.

• Proven leadership in managing complex engagement workstreams and client deliverables.

• Experience in creating project work plans, budgets, and execution strategies.

• Capability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities concurrently.

• Proficient in solving intricate business, financial, and investigative issues.

• Experience in mentoring and developing junior professionals.

• Familiarity with supporting client relationship management and business development efforts.

• At least 5 years of experience in disputes and investigations.

• Expertise in litigation support and investigative engagements.

• Proficient in financial and forensic investigations.

• Skilled in economic damages and financial analysis.

• Experienced in expert witness support and report preparation.

• Background in working with companies, law firms, government entities, and fiduciaries.

• Experience in presenting findings to clients and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Preferred qualifications include MBA, CPA, CFE, CFF, CFA, JD, CIRA, or similar professional designations.

• Strong skills in database management, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, typically less than 20% of the time.

• Candidates may be located anywhere within the contiguous United States.
